Forbes released its annual billionaires list so we can all keep ourselves informed of the 1,426 people in the world whose wealth we'll likely never be able to even fathom. Though, this year's list does include quite a few fashion names, so maybe when we get around to creating that luxury empire...
Anyway, Zara titan Amancio Ortega, no stranger to the list, came in at number three right in between Bill Gates and Warren Buffett with a net worth of $57 billion. LVMH's Bernard Arnault is just a few notches below at number 10 with a net worth of $29 billion. L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt came in at number nine with $30 billion, making her the world's richest woman.

Africa Fashion Week Goes To Toronto

This year, Africa Fashion Week, AFWT debuts as a series of city-wide events that will attract, entertain, and educate on everything African fashion from August 15 – 18, 2013 at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, 6 Garamond Court in Toronto. The event opens on the first day with a red carpet cocktail reception in the evening while a student designer competition and runway shows will run on the days following that. I’m looking forward to all parts of the event especially the informative ‘Fashion Africa’ seminar and festive meet-n-greets.
