Within the Nigerian context, Wizkid could be genuinely referred to as a super-star but at the end of the day he is still a young man as his name indicates and therefore susceptible to making adolescent mistakes.
About a couple of weeks or thereabout ago this fledgling young man was unfortunately involved in an auto-mobile accident but as luck would have it, there was no fatality as it would have been very disheartening to lose another talented artist to car accident so to that, I say glory be to JAH.
While it hasn`t been proven that this accident occurred as a consequence of someone driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, nonetheless it is my fervent belief that this requires a thorough investigation to determine what actually transpired on that early morning of 15th June.

Call me cynical but my suspicion is that there is more to this accident than meets the eye. Why? Well, for a start, the driving distance between Oriental Hotel and Get Arena where this accident supposedly occurred is just about a couple of 100 meters and any sane driver MUST break speed or in fact STOP on getting to the junction leading to Lekki road.I hereby ask the reader of this article to please bear in mind that Get Arena is directly across Oriental Hotel and would have taken just a minute walk to cross over had Oriental not been fenced off from the road so it seems a bit inconceivable that two tyres of a quality car such as a new porsche panamera will burst while at a very low speed of about 5km or 10km per hour and cause such front and rear daamages.

 I assumed the speed of about 5/10km per hour because that is the maximum speed any driver with his or her correct senses should enter Lekki road from the junction leading to Oriental hotel. While returning home from the Ebonylife Launch yesterday, I made a detour to Oriental Hotel and then drove out back on to the Lekki road just to do a bit of inspector Colombus kind of investigation, lol and it was quite fun.It actually made me feel VERY intelligent,hahahaha.

When we lost Dagrin,a budding rapper who was about the same age as WizKid is now and through the same circumstance, the press never asked questions either. The bloggers/journalists are in my opinion the greatest bane of Nigeria as a nation at the moment and not the idiots in government because some journalists /bloggers could sell their own souls/country just for N30k.

I live on this same lekki axis where Wizkid had this accident and on most weekends I usually bump into minimum of 3 or 4 cars wrapped around different street light poles as a result of accidents and yet we don`t  consider driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs grievous enough to warrant an all-out war against it? Wow,wow and wow, ours is REALLY a very interesting country.

I know I will definitely receive flaks from some individuals who will rather prefer the see no evil, hear no evil approach to this incident for daring to ask questions but questions we must always ask and answers we must demand. I have not concluded on anything yet and can`t say for sure what happened that wee hour of 15^th June but I am not buying into what I read yet till I get certain questions answered.

Again, I am just asking questions.

Also, I believe it was giving the wrong signal for Wizkid, EME Records and of course in connivance with the bloggers to stop just short of demanding for national holiday when Wizkid purchased a new Porsche. The way they were going on about it one would have thought our entire national debt has been paid off.

I have a few questions for the bloggers and Wizkid/Eme

Wizkid/EME

• Were the details of this accident exactly as they were reported by the bloggers?
• At what speed did Wizkid or whoever was driving this car enter Lekki road?
• Was Wizkid the one driving this car and if so, was he drunk?
• Was any government property damaged as a result of this accident and if so, was it replaced by you?
• Can you explain why the car has front and rear damages if the driver was not drunk or over-speeding?

• Don`t you reckon that some details of this accident didn`t quite add up?
• Did you bother to ask the hard questions?
• Did you bother to investigate the circumstances surrounding this accident?
