‘Enter the Dragon’ Star Jim Kelly Dies at 67


Actor and martial artist Jim Kelly, who vaulted to fame alongside the legendary Bruce Lee in the classic 1973 action film “Enter the Dragon,” has died of undisclosed causes. his ex-wife Marilyn Dishman reported earlier today on her Facebook page.

The worldwide popularity of “Enter the Dragon” instantly turned Kelly into an action superstar, leading to roles in numerous blaxploitation films.
Most famously, he co-headlined the 1974 classic “Three the Hard Way” alongside NFL hall of famer Jim Brown and “Black Caesar” icon Fred Williamson.Kelly unofficially retired from movies in 1982 in order to focus on teaching.He was 67.
